I'm not dead, but my art sure was. I've been on a long journey these past 2 years. My inspiration to draw had been slowly dying and just about did. I struggled to pinpoint why. I may have figured it out. My emotions are very much connected to my art. I never did this to be professional, I did this purely for a hobby. In some cases it was therapeutic for me. As my emotions flowed, so did my artwork. Well, the last few years I had been in a situation where my emotions had to be suppressed. Hidden. I was not "allowed" to have my full range of feelings. Accountability post! I've been inspired by a wonderful group of artists IRL and have taken on the Inktober challenge! This will be interesting but I'm hoping having good influences around me will keep me going through the month. I'm not doing prompts but instead trying to work with a theme instead. My theme is flowers and plants! If anyone doesn't know what Inktober is check it out here!
